We just love kombucha!

We’ve enjoyed kombucha for many years and love how it makes us feel, so we knew we had to find a way to brew more and share our enthusiasm with others.

Our common passion for kombucha, as well as overall health, nutrition and the environment led to our vision of what has now become Bootstrap Kombucha, and it is our commitment to you to follow the highest standards for producing a top-quality authentic product.

OUR BREWERY & TASTING ROOM

It’s what’s on the inside that counts

To achieve the perfect balance of flavor and effervescence, as well as to ensure freshness, we brew our kombucha slowly and in small batches at our brewery and tasting room in San Diego using the highest-quality natural and organic ingredients. We go to great lengths, in every detail of the brewing process, to produce authentic kombucha.

We use our own special custom-made water filtration system that removes only the heavy metals, chlorine, and fluoride, yet retains the minerals naturally found in all water that are needed for healthy kombucha brewing. Additionally, we only serve and store our kombucha in environmentally-friendly stainless steel kegs rather than single-use disposable plastic kegs that leach chemicals into the kombucha and ultimately end up in landfills.
